Bringing The Ruby Collection Vision to life

The Ruby Collection towers is a 1600 room tourism development, with development of this resort spanning over a 4 year period. Most excitingly, Ruby’s CEO David Brook, Sales & Marketing Manager Alicia Szerszyn and William O’Dwyer the owner of Ralan Development group are committed to providing something the Gold Coast has not seen before. Included in this is unique artworks that would be on display throughout the space.

With colour & abstract art being the focus for the artwork style, this project is about really letting the energy of the artworks shape the feeling of the space. Using a combination of original artworks and reproductions recreated from artworks painted exclusively for The Ruby Collection, ensures we have created a tourist destination that is also an art gallery.

When people are on holiday, it is fond and happy memories that they desire. And the Ruby team were determined to create this for their clients. Tracie Eaton’s artwork brief was that each painting was to create a sense of fun, energy, excitement & happiness. Each artwork is to reflect the vibrancy of the Gold Coast environment and lifestyle. And, to reinforce the awesome experiences had by each guest.

The project involves original artworks being created for every floor’s elevator foyer areas, along with unique fine art reproductions for all corridors, rooms & common areas.

Colour tones of chosen furnishings were provided to Tracie Eaton for each floor. The paintings were to compliment and integrate these colours. And every painting needed to be completely unique throughout the resort so guests will be greeted with different works of art from floor to floor.

All original artworks hung are available for sale and refreshed regularly.
