Summer fun, in any season!

Summer at Main Beach

Summer on the Gold Coast. It is filled with sun, sand, laughter and a whole lot of beach!

It was a delight to be commissioned to paint a 1950’s inspired beach scene onto an external wall, in a Main Beach, Gold Coast’s penthouse bar and pool area.

Keeping the colour tones muted, in line with vintage advertising, and colour matching the painted ocean to the soft furnishings in the bar area enhanced the continity of this space.

Additonally the creation of a painting to the right of the main wall, seen as you walk up the stairs to the bar, created intrigue and a flow-effect that draws you into the area.

Tracie Eaton collaborated with another well known local pop-art artist Courtenay McCue – CRT Designs to complete this piece.

A super fun project, with a super fun and elegant result.
